This week, I had the same child's blog as before, so I went back to her blog to see if she had posted anything new. The child, Gabby, still had not responded to everyone's question asking what her hypothesis for her science fair project was.
I am currently enrolled as a junior at the University of South Alabama. I am earning my bachelor's degree in Secondary Education Mathematics. As educators, we should focus on future generations to ensure that they succeed to the best of their abilities. In order to achieve this goal, educators must be willing to constantly learn and motivate their students to use new forms of technology inside and outside of the classroom. Educators must be self-motivated lifelong learners. As future generations go through school, the use of technology will become mandatory in schools. It is our job as educators to lead our students in their use of technology so that they can better themselves and their educations. We are not going back in time, so educators need to put down the pen and paper and pick up their computers. My ultimate goal is to equip my students with the knowledge and tools necessary to raise the bar in education with the technology generations.
